Rev. Michael Beeks, Pastor
Pastor Michael has served at RRBC since April 2011. He is a native of Greer, SC and a graduate of both North Greenville University and Furman University. He received a Master of Divinity degree from Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. Michael and his wife, Sharon, were married in 2000. Together, they share a passion to see people come to faith in Christ and grow toward spiritual maturity. They are active in small group Bible study, and Sharon is involved in the music ministry. Sharon has a Bachelor of Science degree from Lander University and Master's Degree from Furman University. She works as an Elementary School Teacher. Michael and Sharon are the proud parents of two beautiful children: Kayleigh and Kaden.
Rev. Skip Torrence, Minister of Music
Skip has served at RRBC since August 2011. He is a native of Virginia Beach, VA and has a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Virginia Wesleyan College and a Masters of Church Music from Southern Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. In addition, he teaches voice and piano lessons with a little piano tuning on the side. He has also been a member of The South Carolina Baptist Singing Churchmen for over 10 years. Skip is married to the former Lori Ramsey of York, SC. Lori has worked for the Clerk of Courts Office in York County for many years. Skip and Lori have two children: Alexis and Luke.
Rob Jackson, Youth Director
Rob is a native of Rock Hill and finished the University of South Carolina in 2003 with a Bachelor's degree in Geography with an emphasis on GIS mapping. He currently works full-time for a Council of Governments. Rob's wife, Angie, works part-time as a dental hygienist and they enjoy raising their three children, Ava, Brooklyn, and Hayes. The two share a heart to be servants and stewards to the areas of ministry God has called them to. Rob has a passion for youth ministry. He desires for students to be authentic in their relationship with Christ and to become disciples that make more disciples. He completed an Associate's degree at Foothills Theological School, and will be pursuing further education in Christian studies.
Jamie Horton, RRBC Financial Administrator and Day School Director (RRDS)
Jamie joined the RRBC Staff in February 2008 as the Day School Director. She added the RRBC Financial Administrator position in January 2009. Jamie graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education. She earned a Master of Education degree in Elementary Education from Winthrop University. She and her husband, Chris, have three children: Meredith, Rebekah and Cal.
Rhonda Feenstra, Ministry Assistant
Rhonda Feenstra attended Saint Leo University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems. Rhonda and her husband, Tim, have lived in Rock Hill since 2004. She joined the staff of Rawlinson Road Baptist Church staff in August 2017. Rhonda homeschools her three children: Chase, Mason, and Danica. She is excited and thankful for the opportunity to be working with Rawlinson Road Baptist Church.
Tonya Moore, Staff Accompanist
Tonya has served at RRBC as the staff accompanist for the past 10 years. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education/Vocal performance from Columbia College. In addition, she has taught voice and piano lessons and is the director of Kids for Christ - the RRBC children's choir. Tonya is married to Chad and they have three children: Jonah, Isaac, and Lainee.
Tamera Guthrie, Custodian
Tamera joined the Rawlinson Road Baptist Staff in 2015. She is originally from Lancaster, SC, but has lived in Rock Hill for 32 years. The Lord has blessed Tamera with a loving husband, Douglas, four wonderful children and three fabulous grandchildren. As a Christ follower, Tamera says that is is a privilege and honor to clean God's house.
